About

We are a family-run farm located in Beausejour, Manitoba. We have a passion for gardening, and through years of growing and enjoying our gardens, flowers and produce, we thought it would be fun to share our bounty with more people! We love spending time outside and appreciate the opportunity to grow with you!

Myrna

Gardening to Myrna is a vital outlet for creativity, and living a healthy lifestyle. The bounty of the garden was instilled in her at a young age from her parents in Killarney. After many years of learning through her own gardening experiences, she expanded her education to include permaculture techniques and edible ecosystem design. Thanks to these resources and many others found through the University of Saskatchewan, Myrna is now the lead for developing our healthy thriving garden soil and plants without the use of chemicals. She enjoys providing fresh produce for her family and now sharing the bounty with others brings her great joy and is a dream come true!

Mallory

Mallory lives and works in Beausejour with her husband and son. She has a passion for gardening and being creative which are values that have been passed down from her parents. Growing seasonal cut-flowers seemed a fun way to expand these areas of interest. She is the lead of the flower garden and U-Pick experince, and manages the Happy Barn Acres social media.

The Farm Stand

We grow a variety of vegetables for our family, but we can’t possibly eat it all! Having extra provides an opportunity to share our chemical-free fresh produce with others through the road side farm stand.

This self-serve honour system stand is set up at the end of our driveway at 72096 Rd 41 (First Street North) Beausejour on Thursday’s from 5:00-8:00PM and Friday’s from 9:00AM-6:00PM. When product allows, we may set it up on additional days, keep an eye on our social media channels for notice!

The Farm Stand accepts cash or e-transfer.

Because this is a fun extra curricular project for us, we don’t have consistent hours, but we post when the stand will be out on our social media! On the stand you can always find an assortment of herbs, vegetables and flowers!
